Kommercial Radio Sux! Sick of listening to shit?

The Dotted Line is all about unsigned and independent Australian music!

G’day. My name’s Michelle. I’m passionate about Melbourne’s unique live music scene.

The Dotted Line gives a voice to emerging and established musos who don’t get played on other stations.

Each week you can hear a featured artist playing live-to-air in the studio. You can also listen to off-beat and quirky interviews with touring bands.

It’s Aussie, its sincere and from the heart. If you want your music to feature on The Dotted Line, email Michelle at: music@3mdr.com

Michelle talks about the future of journalism:

3MDR 97.1fm : THE VOICE OF THE DANDENONGS: INDEPENDENT MEDIA? IT’S AS SIMPLE AS MDR!

3MDR 97.1fm is a community radio station based in Emerald, in Melbourne’s Dandenong Ranges. It broadcasts across Melbourne and streams live across the web.

MDR plays an important role in the community where it provides an independent voice for a range of listeners. MDR is also an emergency broadcaster and provides vital bushfire information and potentially life saving up-dates on Code Red fire danger days.

Our broadcasters are passionate about independent media and are actively involved in community, through music, the arts and local events.

All genres of music are covered, and there is a broad range of ethnic programming as well as live seasonal local football broadcasting each Saturday.
